The thick top of 4.5 cm is thickened 2.0 + 2.5 cm and has a rough finish which makes the top extra tough. The round shape of the top ensures that the chairs are pleasantly turned towards each other around the table, so that it fits well in most interiors. The top is treated with a lacquer, which gives a first preventive layer of protection. For stronger protection that prevents ring formation and stains, we recommend sanding the top first and then applying it with a maintenance product from the HSM maintenance products collection._x000D_
